Potential of tropical grass and legume species as feed for ruminant livestock
The Tropical Forages Program of the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) is looking for an MSc-student to compile and analyse the available nutritional and agronomical information of tropical grass and legume species generated at the center during the last decades. A user-friendly database needs to be developed first allowing an in-depth analysis of the data, which will be presented in the MSc-thesis.
The student will work at CIAT Headquarter in Cali, Colombia, for 3-6 months and will be supervised in close collaboration with the Group Animal Husbandry in the Tropics and Subtropics of the University of Kassel/University of Goettingen and his respective university.
